Goods Transport Services in Gurugram: Parcels to Full Loads

Allied Pack & Move also carries consignments that are not a household: a handful of cartons, a truck of stock, or one awkward item. From Gurugram we pick a vehicle that fits the load, load it carefully and drive it to the delivery address.

Small to large consignments

The kinds of goods we transport

Besides household shifting, we take consignments for shops, firms and private individuals:

  • Parcels and part loads
  • Full loads
  • Regular consignments

Most consignments fall into one of three sizes:

  • Parcels and small lots. A few cartons, one appliance or a box of samples, packed and taken to the address you name.
  • Full loads. A whole truck of stock, raw material, finished products or shop fittings, on a truck or trailer that suits the weight.
  • Oversized items. Machines or other pieces that will not fit a normal truck body need a proper trailer and a route worked out ahead. Send the size and weight, and we say whether and how we can carry it.

If your business sends goods often, tell us how frequently and to where, and ask about storage for stock that has to wait in between.

Vehicles and care

The Vehicle Follows the Load

Trouble starts when a vehicle is fixed before anyone has looked at the goods. We begin with the goods.

Our vehicles

  • Small goods vehicles

Suited to parcels, cartons and short trips around town, where a large truck would have trouble in narrow lanes.

  • Trucks

Used for bulk stock and longer journeys between cities, with the size picked to match the weight.

How we handle goods

  • Packing by product

Cartons, wrapping or pallets chosen for what is being sent, so goods that must not move stay where they are.

  • Orderly loading

The heaviest pieces go in first and everything is fastened, so the load does not move while driving.

  • A written record

Piece counts, weights and addresses are noted while loading, so the sender and receiver both know what is coming.

  • A pause in storage

If the receiving site is not ready, the stock can be held in storage before it moves on.

Before you call

Details We Need About Your Goods

We can only price a consignment properly from facts, not from a request for “a truck”. Please have these ready:

Consignment notesFor a transport quote

  1. Roughly how much it all weighs, and how many pieces there are.
  2. The length, width and height of the biggest single item.
  3. The present state of packing: loose, in cartons, on pallets or in crates.
  4. What help exists for loading at either end, such as a forklift, dock or crane.
  5. Where it is collected and delivered, and whether a big truck can get to those places.
  6. The date you want, and how far it can move either way.

How it works

How a Goods Consignment Runs

The path a consignment follows from your first message to the handover.

  1. Send the load details

Tell us the weight, how many pieces, the biggest measurements and both addresses. A photo helps with unusual shapes.

  2. Pick the vehicle

We choose the vehicle and any extra hands for the load and the road, and the quote follows from that.

  3. Pack, load and fasten

The crew packs whatever needs it, loads in a sensible order and fastens everything so it stays put on the road.

  4. Drive and hand over

The vehicle goes to the delivery address, and the goods are handed over against the piece count.

Pricing guidance

What goes into a goods transport quote

We price goods from the load itself. These are the details that change the figure.

Weight and bulk
A heavier or bulkier load needs a bigger vehicle and more time to load.
The biggest piece
A single oversized item can settle the choice of vehicle for the entire load.
Kind of vehicle
A small goods vehicle, a truck and a trailer cost very different amounts over the same distance.
Loading help
A load that needs a crane or forklift, or a site that has none, means extra equipment or extra people.
Distance and road
Kilometres covered, tolls, and any limits on large vehicles along the way.
Packing and crating
Loose goods have to be put in cartons, wrapped or palletised before they can travel.

FAQ

Questions About Goods Transport

Still have a question?

Call or WhatsApp us and talk it through with our team.

Yes, small consignments are fine as well as full loads. Let us know how many pieces there are, about how heavy they are and the two addresses.

We look at the total weight, the biggest single piece and how easy both addresses are to reach. A light load should not take a big truck, and a heavy one should not be forced into a small vehicle.

Sometimes, depending on the item and the route. Send its measurements, weight and a photograph, and we tell you whether it can go and how.

Goods sent for business, particularly across state lines, commonly need an e-way bill, and the sender normally generates it. Have the invoice and e-way bill details at hand when you book.

If the consignment has chemicals, fuel or anything flammable or hazardous, say so before booking and we will tell you whether we can carry it. Cash and jewellery should not travel in a goods load at all.

The load can wait in storage and be sent on when you give the word.
